How do we shape innovation for a sustainable future? At the ‘Research for Sustainability’ forum, stakeholders from academia, politics, business and civil society will discuss the future of sustainable innovation and the implementation of the new FONA strategy, which will be presented for the first time by Research Minister Dorothee Bär.

On 24 and 25 June 2026, participants can look forward to a networking event full of inspiration, exchange and practical insights into current research and innovation projects. On site, the DAKIS, food4future and CUBES Circle consortia will present exhibits showcasing their research – including innovative VR/AR applications and AI-supported solutions for sustainable agricultural and food systems.

Together, we want to develop ideas on how research can accelerate sustainable transformation and drive concrete positive change.
