We will discuss what measures can be taken to promote more sustainable food production and supply in cities. We will also look at the importance of local production, the reduction of food waste and the use of innovative technologies for a more environmentally friendly diet. Our aim is to develop a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with promoting sustainable diets in urban environments. Project coordinator Prof Dr Monika Schreiner takes part in the panel discussion.
