The "Agricultural Systems of the Future" were represented at the "Campus & Career" stand of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) at Agritechnica in Hanover from 12 to 18 November 2023.

The DAKIS, GreenGrass and NOcsPS consortia and the coordination office of the BMBF funding line presented their research. Visitors were able to enter into dialogue with the scientists of the projects and they could also find out more about all eight consortia of "Agricultural Systems of the Future" at the interactive multi-touch table.

On Friday, 17 November 2023, a panel discussion on the topic "Agricultural systems of the future - innovative visions for area-based systems" took place at 12:00 noon on the DLG "Studio Stage". It was moderated by Dr Rebecca Klopsch from the Central Coordination Office. Dr Ariani Wartenberg from DAKIS, Dr Juliane Horn from the GreenGrass consortium and Dr Ingrid Claß-Mahler from NOcsPS presented their respective research projects. They then discussed various aspects of how research into innovative agricultural systems and land-efficient forms of production can reduce conflicting goals in the production and utilisation of food. The consortia focussed on commonalities between the consortia and interfaces between the various projects that make it possible to work together on the transformation of agricultural systems. In the subsequent public discussion, the participants talked about cooperation with industry and the possible transfer of research into practice.
